A brilliant win for our guys at the Simon Watson
Memorial Gala on 17.5.14. Final scores were BSS Black 269, Sittingbourne A 204,
Sheerness A 191, BSS Red 158, Sheerness B
137 and Sittingbourne B 77. The BSS
Black team racked up 33 wins out of the 50 races and only dropped 31 points. Results
here. BSS Red team scored 2 first
places (Keenan & Luke).

Our relay teams did really well again in
the Paul Trigwell Island Run coming 2nd, 3rd and 4th. Fantastic! Now get that

Fab BSS results at Medway Champs. Gala 3 on
26.4.14 : Brandon gold, Oliver silver and Josh bronze. Other 4th-6th place results from
our 9-11 relay teams (x3), Heidi (4th pl. medal), Matilda (5th pl. medal) and Luke (6th

Champs. Gala 2 on 12.4.14. 16 PBs and 8 Medals wre achieved including 3 Podium Medals
for Matilda (Gold), Leigha (Silver) and Oliver (Silver). 3 SE Regional Qualifying Times

Well done to our 6 swimmers representing
Medway ASA in the Lumbres French Gala last weekend. Some great results - details
PB Sheets now updated following recent
galas (including Sheerness and Lumbres) and 2 recent time trials here
pleasing second place for
BSS in the Sheerness Memorial Gala on 29.3.14. Final scores
were Black Lion 222, Beachfield 217, Folkestone 185, Sheerness
"Yellow" 174, Sittingbourne 158 and Sheerness "Blue" 68. We scored 19 first

Great swimming from our youngsters
representing their schools at the KSSA Kent Primary Schools' Finals on 22.3.14 Matilda
retained her 50m Free title in 30.48! Brandon 4th in 50m Brst 42.92. Heidi 6th in 39.02
in 50m Fly. Kara 11th 50m Free in 39.28. Medals for Kara, Abbie and Brandon in the

6 medals and 1 regional time earned at the Kent
Champs galas 6-9 on March 1st and 2nd. Matilda grabbed a fantastic silver medal in the
11yo 50m free in a time of 30.84! Results here.

Championships Gala 1 held on 1.2.14. Five finallists, 3 medals (Heidi, Matilda and

Schools' Champs. Jodie won a 4th place medal in the yr 10/11 100m Fly and
Luke won a 6th place medal in the
Boys' Yr 10/11 100m Fly! Tiz and Aiden won a relay
medal each representing Highsted GS and Steph won
2 relay medals representing Rochester GS. Luke also achieved PBs in the 100m Free and
the 100m Fly! Cameron Kemp also swam very well for Fulston

December 2013. Great news - we have gained the
Amateur Swimming Association's (new) Swim21 Essential accreditation. This is a
quality mark and a guarantee of high standards in teaching your children to swim,
looking after them (safeguarding), and the governance of the club . We were one of the
first clubs IN THE COUNTRY to gain this award. Well done to all

Congratulations to BSS Girls' Captain
Leigha Mitchell who has won Medway ASA's "Most Meritorious Ladies Award" for her
outstanding swimming in the 2013 Medway Gala Series. Along with Leigha, Tiz Gudgeon and
Jodie Mitchell have helped BSS to win the overall 2013 Ladies' Trophy (the Coronation
Cup) for the most points scored in the Open Women's Events in the six galas. A

Xmas Gala L3 SC on 29.12.13. FIVE 1st places, 3 second places and two
third places were achieved plus 3 PBs (it was very cold!). Pride of place goes to
Brandon who scored 2 KQTs and achieved 3 PBs. Results are here. Golds for Brandon, Luke and Josh.
Silvers for Steph (x2) and Brandon. Bronzes for Keenan and Brandon. Tiz also achieved 2
first places (too quick entry times for medals) and a KQT in 50Ba. Good swims from
